“When are the elections for PR in office?” – Vishnu asked while my eyes were rolling through the refreshments at Marine Drive.
“I don’t know! Maybe in April.”
“How don’t you know this? You aren’t really updated. Upgrade your circle bro.”
I was really shocked by the hypocrisy that he had towards these kinds of issues.  
“Whom will you select for the role?”- as excited as Vishnu was for this stupid event, I wasn’t even remotely interested in this theme. 
“I don’t know. The behavior changes as you get what you have always wanted.”- that was just a mere reply.
“What do you mean??” – Vishnu asked to clarify the air. 
“The way people treat you, after achieving something, changes. I’ve already experienced that many times.”

As quoted by an old friend: If you get the same treatment from more than a couple of friends, then the problem is ‘within you’, rather than ‘within them’. But, I believe that if multiple people say that you are a loser but, you are a strong believer of being successful someday, I am sure that, you will be successful, one day. Actually, people always have a choice. They choose to judge you, no matter how good you are with them. They choose not to stand by you or betray you and that’s indeed predetermined. They prefer to tag along, even after all the ill-treatments. So, it’s definitely not, how you treat them. It’s how they choose to return the favor.

After spending a couple of hours in Marine drive, we had our fingers crossed at the backseat while my friends were racing airplanes. Actually, I know that we live by the motto ‘YOLO’, but that motto comes into the picture, when we are left alive.
“Is there a plan to reach home alive or are you planning on parceling my body?” – Vishnu shivered while biting off his fingers indeed.

“What about a startup- Let’s start our own company!” – Starling everyone, with this question just to divert my mind off the high speed… Or was it just a thought that I spoke out loud. 
“This is the Drunk Sam speaking.” – an expected reply from Aditya… or maybe it was just my best-friend’s way of motivating me.
“If we cannot find a job then, let’s create one!”
“Who will sponsor that? Your dad?” 
“That’s a good point, too…” – sarcastically mocking away the topic.

Someone recently told me that – “Every opportunity is a learning”. I am sure that we need to en-cash that learning and try to use those learning to break the barriers. Besides, one day we will all be able to fly rather than just talk about flying.
